If it is clinically bad breathhalitosis- there are over the counter sprays that you can get— otherwise brushing your teeth and tongue, and rinsing before bed helps

You can’t really. brush and use listerene the night before, drink only water overnight, and keep gum or mints or listerene tabs by the bed!

Don’t breathe on anybody and you won’t be accused of bad breath. Or you could just floss, brush and rinse…

brush your teeth and use mouthrinse before you go to bed at night. it’ll help your breath not smell so much like a garbage can when you wake up in the morning. :)

floss…i never believed in it until people start covering there mouth and nose when i talked…food gets stuck in between your teeth and sits there and rots!!!try flossing then brushing and brushing your tongue too…then Listerine…that’s the shit…also stay away from soda that will stink your mouth up too..

    Drink alot of water
Before you go to bed, floss your teeth, brush your teeth, and tounge, get a tounge scraper you can even use the bowl side of a spoon, rinse and use crest, or listerine mouth wash (crest tastes a whole lot better).

Try to avoid foods that cause bad breath, coffee, garlic, onion, and stuff like that. Even chewing a few sprigs of parsley after a meal might help. Parsley helps with bad breath. If it continues, or if it is horribly bad consult your doctor, you may have a digestive problem.

Use mouth wash then brush and then mouthwash again before bed drink only water
    then repeat in the morning

also you might go have your teeth cleaned it will really help

also use a water pick and a motorizes toothbrush it removed more plaque then a regular toothbrush and floss
    good luck

All good answers, but with mouthwashes, keep in mind that any that contain alcohol, like Listerine, will help cause bad breath. The ingredients in Listerine helps kill harmful bacteria, but the alcohol in it causes your mouth to dry out which causes bad breath.

Brush and floss morning and night. Visit your dentist every 6 months for cleaning. If regular mouthwash doesn’t do it for you, you might try rinsing with regular peroxide before bed (don’t swallow … rinse with water after) … it kills germs in your mouth.

Unfortunately, there is no cure, but it can be decreased. Like other people said, drink lots of water, don’t smoke, avoid sugars, brush regularly…etc

I have found the new Crest Pro-Health toothpaste is wonderful at fighting bad breath and just good oral hygiene. My dentist noticed that increase of healthiness too.

Use that, floss before bed, and rinse with Listerine. For bonus points, use a tongue scraper. You can buy a plastic one at your local grocery store. It scrapes off bacteria on your tongue, which can cause bad breath. It really helps a lot!

  14. Dr. Sam says:

Clean your teeth at night. And don’t eat a lot of sugar after 8 PM.

Floss, brush your teeth, scrape your tongue, rinse with a mouthwash of your choice. Avoid foods that make bad breath, like onions and garlic. If none of that helps, consult your doctor or dentist to see where the smell is coming from.

If you do a search on the internet using “bad breath” as your search term, you will find almost five MILLION references. Here’s a good place to start:
    http://www.ada.org/public/topics/bad_breath.asp

The odors from garlic and onions enter your blood stream and then it takes a couple of DAYS before you breathe it all off. As you do this, you will continue to have bad breath. You can only use a mouthwash or breath mint (sugarless) as needed to mask the odor. I have read a lot of answers here saying to eat parsley to get rid of garlic breath, but I have no personal knowledge about that. Try it.
